The Corrie actress has her ticket to talk films!

What was the first movie you ever went to see at the cinema?
My Girl starring Macaulay Culkin, and I thought it was wicked.
I wasn`t a big fan of Macaulay though, it was just that I was going
to the cinema for the first time. I went with my mum and my friend
and we had popcorn and Coca Cola. It was great.

What is your favourite film?
It`s currently There`s Only One Jimmy Grimble because a good friend
of mine is in it! (Samia actually stars in it!)
And I also like Analyse This with Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal.
It has a really good balance of comedy and action.

What`s your worst movie of all time?
Probably Scary Movie. I just thought it was really crude and silly.
It wasn`t really my style.

Have you ever walked out of a film?
Yes, The Phantom Menace. I`m not a Star Wars fan and the film had
been so hyped up. I didn`t understand what was going on with the Jedis
or whatever they are called. I`m not a sci-fi fan.

Have you ever been scared watching a movie?
Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp was horrible and heads kept rolling around
everywhere! I actually screamed out loud at one bit!

Do you ever cry at movies?
Beaches makes me cry every time and I cried at My Girl too.
But that was probably because I was so overwhelmed by the whole cinema
experience.

Have you ever snogged in the back row of the cinema?
My boyfriend (Ciaran Griffiths, who played Linda Baldwin`s brother Dean in Corrie)
would kill me if I told you that! His reputation would go right down! I think that probably
tells you the answer!

What do you tend to eat when you go the cinema?
I went with my friend the other day and we got loads of pic and mix. We must have spent
about four quid on sweets. Usually though, I just eat sweet popcorn and drink coke.

How often do you go to the cinema?
Probably about once or twice a month, it`s escapism really. If a film catches my eye, then
I`ll try and go to see it. I think I prefer going to the cinema than renting a video and watching
it at home. I like to go out.

Is there any film you would really like to star in?
Jimmy Grimble the Sequel! Or I`d really like to have a gritty role in a big British film. Actually,
I would have loved to have played the part Thora Birch plays in American Beauty. It`s just the
sort of role I go for, a quirky character.

Who would you like to star alongside you?
Joe Pesci or Robert De Niro. We could be in a gangster film and they could make me feel mean!
I`d also like to be the victim in a horror movie!

Who would you choose to play the part of you in the movie of your life?
I don`t know actually. Maybe Madonna! I`ve loved her for as long as I can remember. Me and Jenny
James (who play Geena Gregory) get all giddy when we talk about her! She`d have to get into character
a bit to play me though!
